The Metrokane push-button stopper works in tandem with any Metrokane Rabbit or Save-the-Wine vacuum pump to preserve the freshness of a partially-consumed bottle of wine. To use, simply insert the stopper firmly into the bottle mouth, place the vacuum on top, and pump out as much air as possible. The lack of oxygen helps keeps the wine fresh for several days, and sometimes as long as two weeks. When you’re ready to pour again, push the patented button on top of the stopper and the vacuum seal is released. Already have the Rabbit Wine Saver, just needed more stoppers to cork and vacuum wine bottles from wine parties. Decently happy with the product.
Tried several different brands/types. This one was among those that failed – had air leaks more than once, even while brand new. Discarded.
