This product is great! I gave it to my mom for Christmas. It makes opening a wine bottle so easy.
I ordered 4 Emerson B060 electrci bottle openers and had them shipped as gifts to 3 locations. 3 of the 4 do not work and its impossilbe to get through to the company to find out how to return and or get a refund. Very unhappy and equally difficult to contact someone at Amazon to find out how to proceed. I tried calling the company I ordered from and get a busy signal or a fax answers. Not good!
Firstly, the shipping was spot on and arrived on the appointed day. So far, the opener works like a charm, although we have not used it with synthetic/plastic corks yet. The additional foil cutter is of good quality also.
it doesn’t lock onto the bottle top and you really have to hold it steady to get it to work. unfortunately, all my attempts to get it to work have been futile. I prefer the standard wine bottle opener kit that I received from Brookstone several years ago. I think this wine bottle opener is a waste of money
If you are into wine this is the best opener I have ever used
