Product Description
Wine should breathe a little, but not overnight. Putting an end to the oxidation process, which turns a favorite Merlot into vinegar, is easy with the Vacu Vin Concerto Wine Saver. These long-lasting extra stoppers are designed to work with the vacuum-style pump (sold separately) to keep a wine fresh. Made of high-quality rubber, they won't affect the taste of the wine. And the method is simple--just place a stopper in the opening of a bottle, place the pump over the stopper, and pump air out until the pump clicks to indicate that the correct vacuum level has been attained. This process is suitable for preserving all but sparkling wines, and will save Chiantis, Syrahs, and others for up to two weeks.Amazon.com Review

Those little stoppers work like a charm. They are simple to use and do a great job of preserving wine. Okay, so maybe they don’t preserve wine for quite as long as advertised, but they do a great job for 5-7 days. Hey, if you don’t down a single bottle of wine in a week, you should probably switch to a different beverage. I give this little product an A+.

Yes, they do work, but not for as long as claimed. I think after 3 to 5 days (depending on the wine) it starts to taste pretty bad…but that’s longer than a re-corked bottle lasts!

I have been using my Concerto for several months now, and I am a raving fan! I drink wine frequently, but seldom finish a bottle in one evening. The Concerto is so easy to use to “vacuum-pack” your leftover wine for storage in the fridge. The unit makes a little chirping noise when the vacuum is reached, so it’s foolproof to use. Wine stays fresher longer, and I am a happy enophile! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

If you want the best stoppers for preserving leftover wine for up to a week, then buy the Concerto series from Vacu Vin. They do an excellent job and there’s no guessing as to when you’ve sucked out all the air.

Exactly what was ordered. Over time vacuum seals go so one needs replacements. These work perfectly with Vacu Vin original system. Price is great excepting shipping which I found extremely high at twice the cost of the item purchased and in a package of less than 2″x2″x2′ and weighing only a few ounces. At over $15 dollars it seemed to be somewhat excessive. However, the sealers at $8.00 were a very good deal.
