Product Description
The subtle taste nuance of a fine red wine only comes out when the wine is thoroughly oxidized. This is easily and elegantly taken care of by the Nuance Wine Finer. In just 30 seconds you can decant a whole bottle of red wine while pouring it into the glasses. The elegant pourer filters out all sediments, pieces of cork and tartar, while a rushing sound of bubbles gives evidence of the efficient oxidizing process. The drip catcher ensures that not a drop is spilled instead the wine runs back into the bottle. A small close-fitting lid keeps any leftover wine fresh for later use. A beautiful, simple and multifunctional pourer, that completely means you never have to apologize that the wine was not uncorked before the guests arrived.

I bought two of these (one as a gift) after reading a review in a well-known chef’s publication. Definitely disappointing. My wife and I tried blind tastings with a young Napa Cab and Napa pinot noir, pouring tastes with and without this aerator. We’ve been tasting wines for 15+ years and have a cellar with 500+ bottles. Both of us came away disappointed. We literally couldn’t tell the difference. At $30 each, we weren’t looking for much. But this is a severe disappointment.
I bought this as a gift, so I can’t personally comment on what it does for wine, but I purchased it on the recommendation of America’s Test Kitchen – a source that I trust. I can say that my brother-in-law seemed quite pleased with it as a gift. It appears to be well-made and durable.
Very stylish, yet functional product. Comes in very handy during a party. Highly recommend it!
I just got this, but so far, I have to say I love it. I specifically got this one because of it’s reviews on America’s Test Kitchen. I used it last night, and since it’s also a cover, am now storing it until my next glass.
This one really works! I can’t begin to describe the pleasure I’ve found when decanting my low-priced reds…this areator/filter should be in everyone’s toolkit and used on every bottle.
