Product Description Introducing the world's first wine refrigerator to display your wines?labels showing?and dispel your fears about storing opened bottles! A convex-shaped door with a built-in shelf holds 4 bottles upright. Standing your bottles in the door not only showcases them, it quells your concerns over leakage after they've been opened and topped with a stopper. And no more storing uncorked wine in the harsh temperature of a regular refrigerator?digital temperature control maintains ideal storage conditions for both reds and whites! Pull-out chrome shelves hold other bottles sideways. All are "spotlighted" with interior lighting. Thermoelectric cooling provides ultra-quiet performance. Revolutionary Patent Pending Design! 3 pull-out chrome wine shelves 20 bottle* capacity - 16 bottle storage, 4 bottle display. 8 mini "spotlights" on door interior; 1 ceiling light (light switch located on the underside of the door) Black with graphite-colored door Preservation Systems and Extra Stoppers are available for when you store your wine inside the door. Available in Other Sizes. Size: 20-1/2"H w/hinge x 17"W x 22-3/4"D w/door *Note: Shelving is meant to hold standard 750 mL size bottles, using larger Pinot Noir/Rhone size bottles may limit the capacity. If you would like to store larger bottles you can easily remove any of the shelves. This will also prevent scraping the labels on the larger bottles. Applications: This model is not meant to be built-in to cabinetry, recessed or put underneath a counter. Additionally this model is not meant to be used in an enclosed area. While the back of the unit does produce a minimal amount of heat, it still needs to vent to an open area

Wish it would have worked... September 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was so excited to get this small fridge that holds 20 bottles. The four outward facing bottles was a design bonus as well, since it was to sit in our kitchen. Too bad it showed up dented, obviously repackaged, and did not hold a constant temperature. We kept it thinking we could get past the dent, since it seemed cosmetic, but eventually the "silent" motor kept getting louder and louder and we just had to send it back. Guess I should have listened to the reviews but the size is perfect to fit under the kitchen desk space we never use for a desk. I guess I'll keep searching for the next perfect wine fridge.
