Very compact and sturdy unit. Will fit into areas that many other stand type wine bottle openers will not. May take an extra try or two with synthetic corks. Otherwise works as advertised.

Highly recommend the Metrokane Houdini on a Stand! Gave it as a gift and the recipient RAVED about it as it made opening bottles of wine so much easier with her arthritic hands! This was by far the PERFECT gift for her. Also fast and easy transaction all around with this seller.
