I've also had one for over a year and now am buying one as a gift for family. I have not had any troubles with this nifty tool, but I try to be careful not to lay bottles on their side without observing for leakage issues--to date, I have had none. Usually, when I unseal a bottle, I can hear a pop or a hiss, and our wine continues to taste good. So far, so good!

This is a poor product. It never manages to really get the air out of a bottle of wine (which you can tell because there is no real "pop" when you remove the stopper) -- and after a few months, mine broke. Find another brand!

This thing is great. I would give it 5 stars. But the 2 stoppers that come with it are the same size. It's great for most bottles of wine. But I found that if the cork is a little big, that the stoppers do not seal properly. I put a bottle of wine in my refrigerator (and I had to lay it on its side) and it leaked. Despite that....I love it.
