Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Modern meets classic in the Waterford Lismore Nouveau deep red wine glass (shown on right). This stemless pair features the popular Lismore pattern on an updated shape formed out of dazzling crystal.

Amazon.com Review
Lismore is the definitive, classic pattern everyone thinks of when they think of Waterford crystal. Lismore Nouveau streamlines the heavier, more traditional Lismore wine glasses with bowls that curve directly out of the long pulled stem. Taking the contemporary look one step further are these new stemless crystal glasses that fit beautifully in the palm of the hand. The two in this pair, generously sized at 16 ounces to increase breathing space, are specifically designed for the enjoyment of complex red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The stemless form induces a more casual approach to wine appreciation, and certainly provokes conversation. p Handsomely boxed, this pair makes an inspired gift for a couple beginning to build a collection. Like all fine crystal, these wine glasses should be washed by hand in moderately hot, soapy water, then rinsed and dried thoroughly to protect the porous surface from harsh detergents. A crystal glass should be stored upright, not on its delicate rim, to ensure longevity for generations to come. I--Ann Bieri/I

5 out of 5 stars The best Waterford glasses so far...   May 11, 2007
I received these for my birthday and have to say they are the most favoite of my all my waterford glasses. Excellent weight, gorgeous to look at. We tested them out when they arived with a Canadian beer, La Fin du Monde, my favorite beer and it never tasted that good! If I had known to plan ahead I would have bought a bottle of wine, but they were a suprise. So enjoy them with beer or wine...can't get much better than this. They are quite large, so if you have a small hand and short fingers careful when washing them by hand, with soap on them they are slippery and could get away from you!

5 out of 5 stars Decent glasses!   April 30, 2007
Good weight to it. Fragile but not overly so. Fairly pricey but very decent glasses!
