This graceful flute from Riedel's Vinum line is designed especially for Cuvee Prestige, Champagne, Prosecco, and other sparkling wines. Not only does the slender, tapered shape enhance the bouquet of such wines, but an etched surface in the flute bottom aids in generating a steady release of bubbles. Each of the four glasses in this set stands 8-5/8 inches tall and holds 8-1/8 ounces at full capacity. p Comprised of more than 24 percent lead crystal, which lends superb brilliance and clarity, Vinum glasses are nonetheless affordable because they are crafted by machine. In fact, Vinum is the first machine-made line dedicated to Riedel's philosophy of shaping and sizing a glass to suit the wine within. In addition to wine stems, the extensive Vinum collection also includes cocktail and spirits glasses. I've started my Reidel Vinum collection and so far I am pretty satisfied. The glasses are beautiful and ellegant.
