Customer Reviews:
Finally!!! an easy wine openerDecember 28, 2008 This thing is great!!! I had bought a Metrolane "Houdini" a few weeks earlier and did not like it's shaky, wobbly, clumsy feel at all. The Lever Man is so much more compact and sturdy. The opening action is smooth and almost effortless. I had my wife open a bottle of wine with it (I always open the wine) and she could not believe how easy it was (also the reverse action to dislodge the cork). I highly recommend this opener. It's a little pricey but feels like it will last for a very long time. Hey, "you get what you paid for".
Good construction and easy to useDecember 27, 2005 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
After reading less than stellar reviews on Amazon about the Metrokane Rabbit line of corkscrews I started searching for some other options and happened to see this one by Blomus in a wine shop in Las Vegas. br /br /Purchased as soon as I saw it go on sale directly through the vendor (Unbeatable Sale not Amazon) and after one use I can say I'm VERY happy with this product. It has a sturdy structure, feels solid in the hand and is made of high quality materials which should last a long time. Bonus inclusion was replacement corkscrew that I doubt I'll have to use for sometime and foil cutter which makes removing the foil a clean quick job.br /br /This corkscrew removes the cork in the same way the Metrokanes' do so if you like that style corkscrew but want something sturday that will LAST then consider Blomus. They're a German company and live of up to the reputation of good German engineering once again with this product.
