Screwpull Corkscrew July 13, 2008 Well constructed and easy to use, great value. Getting the cork off of the corkscrew is the feature I like the best.
great item May 27, 2008 this really is a cool screwpull eventough it is a bit too heavy and a little too expensive.
Good wine opener January 4, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The opener works with little force, so just about anyone can use it. The stand is nice and makes it easy to store. The foil opener, which stores in the stand, is not the best I've ever used.
Near Flawless November 23, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've been using this model for a little over a year and it is by far the sturdiest and easiest of the lever wine openers I've tried. Cheaper models tend to break, especially when used incorrectly but this one can take a licking and keep on pulling. No problems with wax corks either. Still, I recommend you understand the instructions before trying to use any lever wine opener.
This item works great! August 29, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Previously, I had only used the standard manual inexpensive type corkscrew that I received in giftbags at conventions. They got the job done, but required a lot of twisting/pulling and often deposited bits of cork in the wine. I debated purchasing this item for a long time because I was put off by the expense. After all, the money I saved by using the cheap corkscrew, could be used to buy more wine. Finally, I decided to get it , and I'm glad I did. No more twisting/turning! Bottles are opened quickly and no more bits of cork. Although the item description indicated that the box included a metal stopper, it did not. However, I called the company and received a metal stopper a few days later. I highly recommend this item!
