US winemaker promises 'Napa' vintages to come from Napa grapes
A major US winemaker settled years of legal wrangling by promising that vintages it labeled "Napa" would be made from that Northern California region's grapes, state officials said.

Two Stanford University economists found that weekly sales of French wine dropped an estimated 26 percent at the peak of the boycott when France opposed invading Iraq, and resulted in a 13 percent slip for the six months or so.
