Samples Flow At Wine Festival
The Virginia Wine Festival drew thousands of people to Morven Park this weekend to taste wines from across the state. More than 100 wineries brought their bottles to the festival, doling out samples during the two-day festival.

Kirk Stroda of Stroda Bros. Farms in Monroe has been elected Oregon vice president of the Pacific Northwest Christmas Tree Association. Cardwell Hill Winery of Philomath won two wine awards by the 2006 Northwest Wine Summit, the largest wine competition in the Pacific Northwest.
