Boaz head baseball coach Nickey Dixon decided Tuesday morning to start junior right-hander Jeremy Vinyard against archrival Albertville in the Class 5A Area 13 opener for both clubs.

52% of state 7th-graders pass ISTEP science
More than half of Indiana's seventh-graders passed the state's mandatory science exam, administered to that age group en masse for the first time last fall.

Vinyard icon expands to Nantucket
(Nantucket, MASS - AP) - There's a dog on the loose. The Black Dog gift shop, a Martha's Vineyard icon, has plans to expand to the state's other island hot-spot.
